Michael Sperla
Mike Sperla is the lead and rhythm guitar component of the power-trio that comprises Voyager 3. Mike also contributes to both lead vocals and backup harmonies (as does each member of the band). Mike has been busy performing in a host of original and cover bands throughout San Diego dating as far back as the 70s. Playing shows with acts such as P.O.D., Jake E. Lee of Black Sabbath and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Mike possesses a raw/hard rocking element that spills out from his guitar and amps through creative riffs and shredding lead solos. Voyager 3 affords him the best opportunity to be one of the passengers and drivers of this hard-rocking unique classic rock vehicle in San Diego County.

Rilind
Rilind’s music career started in 2010 playing in various bands. 2011, Rilind joined the already well established under-18 band Birds of Prey. Rilind went on to perform at The Coach House, the San Diego County Fair, the USS Ronald Reagan, and many other venues for a total of about 50 shows. 2013, Rilind released his first EP with his post hardcore band Destroying The Vessel. Then late 2018, Rilind started pursuing emo trap music, releasing several EP's & 2 albums. From there he went on to perform regularly, mostly in Los Angeles where the genre originated. 2022, Rilind began performing lead & back ground vocalist with Voyager 3, while also continuing his solo career.

Mikeyb
Mikeyb’s music career started in 1966 playing Trumpet, while learning several instruments later he moved to Timpani enabling him to play in his school Band, compete with the marching band, and join the Orchestra. In 1973 Mikeyb moved to a mountain community full of young musicians, there experimenting with different instruments, percussion and the vocal fronting of a couple teen bands. Mikeyb left music for a few years to pursue marriage and a racing career. Music kept calling him, returning in 1989 as the drummer for the Tobasco Brothers band. During the next few years Mikeyb performed with TB and many other groups, then formed The Left Coast Blues Review, a year later he formed San Diego's heavy Blues Rock band Midnight Run 1993-97. 1997-2000 Mikeyb Joined Alternative rock No Last Call., during this period Mikeyb formed SeaKret Weapon 1999-2001 (with Mikey's departure) a name change to West of 5 2001-current . During the 2000's Mikeyb averaged 85-95 gigs annually, while with the band No Last Call Mikeyb met Bassman John"Jcat" (from 60's band Mother Bear) while filling in for Jcat's current NorthStar band formed 1973. They instantly hit it off and Mikeyb continues to be the drummer for NorthStar. Pre covid Mikeyb while Performing original music with song writer Micah Smith of Murder Pony & preparing for a CD release and tour scheduled for early 2020 (covid cancel ugg) met Michael Sperla . Post covid Michael approach Mikeyb with his vision of a power trio "old school plug and play" style with a harder edge, Voyager 3 was born. Mikeyb has worked with many San Diego artists as a fill in, and currently continues to Drum, with lead & back ground vocals for Voyager 3, NorthStar, Midnight Ride & the Youngsters bands.
